Cupcake Dress up

If you’ve opted for cupcakes, instead of the traditional wedding cake, then have
I got something for you. While perusing wedding magazines of the season, I came
across a company acknowledged for their clay centerpieces. Like their silk
counterparts, I’ve never been keen on flower alternatives. HOWEVER, This
particular centerpiece was a standout, and for that reason, I checked out the
company’s website. While there, I discovered two things: First, that your clay
centerpieces could also serve as your bridal bouquets and although $100+, that
you’d be able to keep your clay arrangements forever. I figure for the price,
that you could also gift them to your bridesmaids. They’d be lovely as table
decoration. Second and more to point, I discovered their large assortment of
Cupcake Wrappers. For $1.00 a piece you could find a wrapper that aligned with
your theme, and they are adorable. My favorite is the black filigree cupcake wrapper
shown here. Add a black velvet ribbon to the edges of a tiered cake stand, and you’d
receive accolades from even the most discerning eye. Visit estiloweddings.com for
more details.

The Inspired Wedding Centerpiece

Roses have long been the bridal bouquet favorite, and I have just recently fallen in love with an imported rose variety known as the Vendela Rose.  Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz, in her recent marriage to Noah Lebenzon, lead guitarist for Everything is Energy, inspired me to write this blog.  She had one of the prettiest floral arrangements for centerpieces, and I could not pass up sharing them with you.  She imported her Vendela roses from Peru and Columbia, as sited by InStyle Weddings, and I was instantly enamoured with her presentation.  I love the soft rounded edges of this rose variety with its’ fiercely feminine appeal.  The glass vases infused with the yellowish green contrast of the leaves makes this arrangement all the more unique.

Event designers, Rene and Niki Delacueva of R. Jack Balthazar also have a magical touch with regards to rose presentations.   I discovered their site after researching vendela roses, and love their event decoration.  The colors and textures chosen for this arrangement are gorgeous.  The green filler, like dripping pearls has an understated opulence that I adore.  Rene has a website full of thematic weddings she’s produced, so may I suggest that you check out her website, rjackbalthazar.com, for it’s full of inspiration.
